Photo of the Week...I made that!

WORK IN PROGRESS!!!

I've been busy today not only learning how to use my new camera, but trying to be artistic and try my hand in card making. I am inspired by Linda of Linda's Crafty Creations, who produces the most marvelous cards...check out her blog site http://lindascraftycreations.blogspot.com/. My card is for my special friend's birthday coming up in March....Sorry Judy...you are my maiden voyage. I snapped this picture before I put the finishing touches on...just imagine a pearl hat pin and pearl buttons with a little glitz here and there. You can't see the wording on the teacup, but it says "Treasured Friend"...I know, I need a lot of practice and ideas on how to put these together. I decided to make all of my greeting cards this year..Ha Ha...do you think I will make it? Have a great Monday....Shelly

  5. Well, ....you're waaaay ahead of me...I keep threatening to do some cards...but, I'm so lazy I just haven't done anything much for months now. I tried cutting and pasting a bit a few years ago, but that is the extent of it. I even have some pretty papers hanging around.... sigh.... I need a kick in the butt....maybe I'll just hop over to that blog and have a look.

What a great first card..... she'll love it!
